Christine Ebersol just won a Tony for her performance in Grey Gardens. It was a no brainer. Everyone, including her peers (Elaine Stritch for example) have been saying that her performance was one of the best ever. I haven't seen the show (damnit) but the cast album has been played over and over and over (etc...)“Another Winter in a Summer Town” is one of the most brain tingling things I have heard in a long time. I put it up there with the sound of the Carnegie Hall crowd when Judy claims that she will stay “all night...” I perused youtube and found this clip of an interview AND performance of the song when she visited “The View.”
