Every once in awhile a magazine cover just takes your breath away. Leo DiCaprio has the closest thing to whatever James Dean had that I can think of. It's a vibe, more than just the face, the photogenic eyes... there's something behind it... him. It's what makes him a star. He was smart to duck out of the picture after Titanic. He knew that as he was being exploited he needed to lay low. Star power and energy can fizzle out. But I don't think his star power can fizzle... just look at that face! He's a good actor too. And let's not forget the work he is doing for ecology.

I remember seeing him in “Gilbert Grape” and thinking that he was just a genius, blowing his entire peer group out of the acting waters.
