When I was younger, this time of summer would depress me. I knew that it was on it's way out. All the summer ballyhoo was over, it was stifling hot and worst of all, there were back to school ads all over the place.
But now, things have changed and it is at THIS time of the summer that I actually look forward to fall. Don't get me wrong, I am perfectly happy to let summer continue it's lazy pace (or encourage it to get REALLY lazy) but for a moment I can look ahead to Autumn and get excited about it.
October used to be my favorite month. I don't pick favorites now. But I love a brisk morning. I love coming in from the cold more than I love coming in from the heat. Air conditioning is poisen to me. When autumn comes, you can throw open the windows just as you did in the spring. I guess it's the middle seasons that I like the most. I like transition. I don't like to see summer fade into dried corn husks. I like to see things evolve and grow.
There are many exciting things happening with Three Cat Media.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons I look forward to September.
