Although a tad draining on my bank account over the years, atleast I am not rail thin and convulsing in a half way house somewhere.
I truly LOVE planners, everything planners and am always looking for new ways to implement my “system” and come up with new ideas, etc. So because I have such a passion for this, I am going to write about it in my blog. I am tagging my planner entries for easy access. If you are interested and also are such a junkie, please peruse my big ole planner head and see all the ideas in my “I appear to have way too much time on my hands” museum.
I was looking for a new way to record daily notes and keep a work record.
I use a teachers planner.
This was suggested to me by a book I read about ADD. A teachers planner book is laid out in a monday through friday weekly view with great big boxes to write notes. It is designed for a teacher to write a summary for what she will do in each class or subject for the day. I remember my teachers plan book. I remember LOVING it and wanting it. I am delighted to have purchased one for only seven dollars at Office Depot and I am doubly delighted as to what a useful tool it has turned out to be. Also it's just fun to write notes in a teachers planbook. Also, I want to note that I kind of get excited with just those two words... teachers... planbook.

I am using it for note taking and keeping a work log. At the end of the week, I can easily see what I accomplished and then figure out what I need to do next.
Then from these notes, I can come up with my “next actions.”
For my action list I discovered a great online tool called, “Remember the Milk.” Check it out.
