On the train tonight, I loved that when we stopped at Addison, the conductor said over the P.A. “Doors open on the left. This is Addison, Wrigleyville, Boystown.”
I loved that he acknowledged the gay neighborhood. Maybe that's common to do now, but it was the first time I had heard it mentioned as just a normal part of the neighborhood.
