Poor Chicago. Poor Bears fans. The newscasters were wearing black. On NBC (I believe) the entire SET was painted black. Ok. Drama Queens...
I think I feel worse for those who purchased 2000 dollar plus tickets. I mean, when I spent MY mortgage on Streisand atleast it was a winning concert. Oh well. Not to rub it in.
So, it's FREAKING FREEZING outside. The temp before wind chill is three. I bundled up and trudged to the train. It reminded me of my Minneapolis days as I breathed in and could feel my sinuses frost over. A peculiar feeling, that. The train during rush hour is always jam packed. Even all the way up by me. So I must make a mental note to leave earlier.
A pretty horrible ride down to the loop. Sardines-ville.
Usually you can people watch but this morning it was hard to SEE people under all the parkas, etc. I was shocked at those who braved the weather sans hat. Thank god I don't have to worry about my hair anymore. Fifteen years ago, I would have went hatless just for the sake of my coif.
Ok, so the weather has frozen my brain and I really have nothing much to say as I defrost here.
So...
Sorry Bears.
Stay indoors.
Brrrrrrr.
