I was at the drugstore today waiting to pick up a prescription and there on the shelf at eye level was a product called No-rad. Pills to take in case of a nuclear fallout. A brand. A box. A fallout. Instructions. Wow. I picked it up. “I can't believe I am holding this box in my hand.” Pills to take to help you from being poisened by radiation during a nuclear attack. Wow.
The other thing I noticed today was when I went to look up music on iTunes. I was interested in hearing Brian Stokes Mitchell's new CD. He had recently did a concert version of “South Pacific” which was excellent. His voice is amazing. The John Raitt of our generation. Anyway, his cd wasn't on iTunes yet but the South Pacific recording was. So I perused the song list and this is how one of the songs was listed: “A c**ck-eyed Optimist. Yes, the word cock no matter what form it is in is now censcored. Soon we will read things like “The D**ck Van D**ke Show,” “P**ter And The Wolf”... and on and on and on.
