A nice subdued Valentines Day. Jason made home-made Pizza and we watched American Idol. That show is a bit ridiculous. I am glad to hear that Simon Cowell is coming up with a new show about finding the best inventor. Yes, lets PLEASE balance out the world and put some focus on OTHER things of importance. I am not going to say entertaining isn't important but I DO think that we put way too much emphasis on it and glorify it a bit too much.
I got Jason “The Electric Company” on DVD. What a great show that was. It is so odd to watch something you haven't seen in years. There were moments I remembered like a flash back to the early 70's. It freaked me out and delighted me at once. I love all these DVD compilations they are coming up with.
I love entertainment when it is combined with learning. I love getting more out of a performance than just someone screaming their head off. False emoting is disgusting to me.
And what was with the Brokeback moment after the three cowboys were done singing. The littlest one turns to the hottest one all upset that he let him down and they have this really intense hug and “private” tender moment. We were howling.
